¶ T94 Harness (Body side)
¶ Connectors
The T14 connector is the junction between the engine harness (T60) and the body harness (T94).
It supplies power to the intake cam phaser (VVT), the ignition coilpacks and the injectors.
This connector plug into the engine harness.
The oxygen sensor provide the air-fuel ratio reading to the ECU.
This connector plug into the upstream O2 sensor.
This connector supply the voltage that “excite” the alternator coil.
It plug directly into the alternator harness which often come with junkyard engines.
*If you don't have the alternator harness on your engine, please reach out to the support and we should be able to provide a solution.
The alternator can “excite” itself through the voltage regulator once the engine speed went above a certain engine speed (+/- 1500rpm).
The connector might be different if using a VW MK5/MK6 accelerator pedal unit. The connector shown in the picture would be for a MK4 unit.
This connector plug into the accelerator pedal.
*If you would like to switch to a different pedal, please reach out to support and we will supply the required pinout or an adapter.
Used to interface with the engine control unit (ECU) for diagnostic and/or tuning purposes.
¶ TACH-ADAPT
The TACH-ADAPT is used to display the engine speed into a factory instrument cluster that use the ignition signal.
Configuration:
There are 8 switch inside the adapter that can be configured, 4 are multipliers and 4 are dividers.
Switch 1 – multiply by 2
Switch 2 – multiply by 4
Switch 3 – multiply by 6
Switch 4 –multiply by 8
Switch 5 – divide by 2
Switch 6 – divide by 4
Switch 7 – divide by 6
Switch 8 – divide by 8
The universal harness output 1 pulse per cycle. To match the instrument cluster from a 4-cyl engines, you would use this configuration:
Switch 4 & 5
*For vehicles that uses K-Line or CAN-bus instead of an analog signal, please reach out to support for solutions.
